Freedom Bridle Fitting
This unique Stübben bridle respects your horse’s anatomy and biomechanics, but we understand that it’s like nothing you’ve seen before! With that being said, here are a few tips to help choose the right size for your horse.
Browband
To simplify things, we use the classic “blue dots” as a focal point for the start of our measurements.
Because the browband is built into the crownpiece of this bridle, our browband measurement starts and ends at the blue dots on either side of the bridle.
Crown
Similar to the browband, the crown piece measurments also start and end at the blue dots on either side of the bridle. However, due to its adjustable nature, we’ve listed both the smallest and largest possible measurements.
Example: Cob sized Freedom Bridle crown measurements are 14″ – 18″
14″ is from blue dot to blue dot with the crown piece adjusted to the shortest length.
18″ is from blue dot to blue dot with the crown piece adjusted to the maximum length.

Noseband, Cheek piece, Flash and Throatlatch
Adjustable bridle parts are not created equally, and neither are the measurements for them!
In an effort to eliminate any confusion, we provide all adjustable bridle part measurements from the shortest to the longest possible lengths. When taking measurements for the Freedom Bridle we followed the anatomical curvature of the bridle for the cheek pieces and throat latch.
Freedom Bridle with Magic Tack
Freedom Bridles with and without Magic Tack are measured the same. When measuring any bridle piece with a curve, follow the curve to have accurate measurements.
